Last night went well. Woke up with some gas pains in my chest and back' date=' but sitting up and walking around a bit helped. I'm not needing every dose of the pain meds. The doc just stopped by and said he's starting the discharge paperwork! Yay!!! Just remember everyone, keep up with your walks and your liquids (sip sip sip!) and you're golden :)

Hows all the april post opers feeling

Day 1 at home went okay... So much more comfortable in my bed! I slept like I was in a coma... I drank 1 Isopure and 1 -8 Oz protein shake made with skim milk to met over 80 protein. For some reason, I craved skim milk to drink and was able to drink another 8 ozs.. Sipped water all day. So far so good, and lost 10 lbs since my hospital stay. I'm feeling do much better

I'm having trouble getting motivated to drink my Protein shakes! They are really grossing me out. Also, I have yet to do a chewable Vitamin. Hated them since I was a kid. Help!!

I had surgery April 1 and weighed 301 that morning. The day I got home from the hospital I was 310. (And in tremendous pain). Today being April 6, I am 297.

I do not care for isopure grape frost juice. I will try it after surgery but it has a nasty Protein aftertaste.

Yes the grape was hard tasting. I liked the apple melon. They are a bit expensive, but not as heavy as a shake when you have to get in your protein. Anyone know of anything comparable?

Maybe if you added some crystal light to the protein? I don't know!! I really love my fuzzy navel Syntrax; hopefully that doesn't change after surgery. :( Even if they gross you out try to drink it anyway. Maybe you can Water it down?

Honestly..everything tastes strange. I bought Biotin chewable that I loved before the surgery...but it tasted entirely too sweet and sour at the same time after the surgery. It almost gagged me. I'm still okay with the chocolate ones... But the fruity ones are too much.
