I'm about ready to eat something I'm not supposed to just to see what happens

Don't do it. I promise you will regret it. Dumping isn't fun. I would suggest you weigh twice a week and keep up with your fluid intake annd output. You may be losing actual weight but retaining water. Also watch your sodium.

Can we have mashed sweet potatoes? Of course no skin! Lol <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I had some this week. It was good. It is on my list of foods.

:) Gina Surgery date Dec. 10th :)

I am living in big, fuzzy slippers and covered n blankets when inside... And yes the heat is on.

that's how I'm feeling. and I've never been one to be cold. hell I don't even own a jacket. you'd always see me in just a hoodie. but I'm glad I'm not the only one... just really sucks

Last year it was 68 in my house all winter. Now it is 73 and I am still cold! What in the world?

Hi guys! Surgery went well but I feel like crapola. Still got my morphine drip but I think it's mostly gas. I wish it would pass already. They brought me my first "meal" but I'm having a hard time taking much in... Just don't feel like it ya know? Maybe a few more sips. Popsicles and cold stuff- not my friend! Can't believe how small the incisions are. Hopefully home tomo :) hope alls well!

Lola!!

So glad everything went well. It is uncomfortable, but you will do great! Hang in there, the first couple of days... Not much fun, but it gets better everyday!

I think your body will fight the process for a bit. It is holding onto whatever it can. Don't worry, I am sure the weight will start coming off. I decided to weigh only on Fridays because the day to day is up and down so much. It's hard to wait a week, but I think it gives better accuracy at where you are at. Good Luck. Don't be discouraged!! You got this!

I only weigh a couple times a week. It would be to discouraging to see that scale go up and down and up and down. So far everytime it has been down even if just by a little bitty bit. And that keeps me a bit saner.

Like a frozen Popsicle constantly! My mother found a blanket throw that is electric!!! Awesome. Two pairs of socks and layers of clothes is my new wardrobe.

Hang in there and glad to hear you had an uneventful surgery.

I know this feeling too well. it's the only part of this whole ordeal I'm not liking. I've never had to layer up in a house that's on 70 degrees. normally my window is cracked open.

omg...does anyone else have frozen feet.

I have a frozen e everything and I used to be hot hot hot all the time!

Lisa, how are you doing now? Were you back in the hospital?

Warning! My husband took a sip of his beer then kissed me. I licked my lips and got a buzz! Lasted a good 10 minutes too! Beware! Lol
