Ready To Get Out

I m almost three weeks post op and I have been laying around a lot. I ve been sore and tired. But I feel like tomorrow I am finally ready to start back into normal life. However I can't help feeling lonely in this whole process. Like i just don't function like the rest of the world does now. Anyone else feeling that? Friends and family have been great, but they don't have to do what I do.

this to will soon pass! you will be up and running in no time!

I understand how you feel. After my surgery I was very emotional and moody. I'm never normally like that. As far as being tired that's normal. You just have to push yourself to get out. Start with a short walk and increase it as you go along. This is a long journey but at the end you will be happy. My surgery was April 23, 2012 and I am down 88 pounds. I am so happy. I have 22 more to lose before I reach my goals.

Girl! I thought I was going to have to be institutionalized!..lol I was so emotional the first 2 Weeks. my poor husband! I went back to work exactly 2 Weeks after surgery and it helped me outta my funk. It gets better, and it is perfectly normal!

I'm four weeks post op and still a lil tired but really depressed. So I know how you feel. Take it one day at a time. That's what I'm doing.
