And once you get on be very careful if you want to take a job even for one day. They will re evaluate you in a heart beat in an attempt to cut you off. They have a trial period that they allow you to work in but when you do they immediately start an evaluation. So just be careful. I need the medical more than anything. Best of luck
  8. Yes we are....
  9. I would love to be your pen pal. My email is ammrog@gmail.com....
  10. Sorry for the typos....I still have the gifts and I would like to give it to someone who gave but did not receive. Can you please send such a person my email so I can send them the gifts I purchased. I don't need what I got. It was so cute I purchased one for myself while shopping for my so called pen pal. Lol. Thanks in advance and God Bless
  11. This is a great idea but I gotta tell you I'm sitting on a full goodie box... Both people you sent to me had no interest in sending out anything or replying to my email in a timely fashion.... I went out and spent my time and my money.... I'm sure had I sent the box out I would have NOT received one in return.... Cause if they didn't have time to write me how would they have had time to shop for me... This is a great idea when it works. But people if you don't have the money for this don't sign up for it to get something for yourself with no intention on giving in return.......
  12. I thought I would never get under 200 lbs... And when I get weighed at the dr the scale is 5 lbs more than the one at home. This is very hard. I'm so tired.
  13. Strange I have been 187 pounds before. Back in 2003 and believe it or not I was happy in my skin. Now I'm smaller but I see so much fat. And the depression is overwhelming. Wellbutrin isn't working and I'm afraid to take anything else. Any one been here.

Just hang in there after the surgery you will be surprised how you see yourself.
  15. I have my surgery on October 19th 2012 Went in at 227. I weighed in this morning before I ate anything and I was 183. I tinker back n forth between 185 and one 182. Is this normal. Or am I done losing.
  16. The great object of life is sensation, to feel that we exist, even though in pain. -- Lord Byron
  17. Welcome. Take it one moment at a time. There will be times you will be afraid but it will all work out and you will lose the weight.
  18. We have lived life the way we lived it. Mistakes were made and there was a lot of hurt and pain. If there was a way to go back and make some changes, we would. Unfortunately that’s not feasible. What we can do is change the present and the future. We have to cherish each day that we have on the planet earth. Love our family intensely, love our friends unconditionally. Be a person of integrity and always be available to serve. We must always have an open mind, to listen to every point of view without judgment. Listen to our elders. They have lived their lives a little longer than us. They just might know more about life than we do. We must constantly remain humble, never putting ourselves above anyone else. Last but not least, we must increase our spirituality. In order to continue doing these things, we have to believe that there is something greater than us, that can help us, guide us, and lead us down a righteous path. The largest room available to us is the room for constant improvement. Peace………………
  19. Many people wonder why they feel so unfulfilled during this time of the year! The reason is that we finally sit still and begin to take inventory of our lives. Initially we blame others for our circumstances and then we blame ourselves. But true growth and fulfillment can only come when you stop blaming...period! There’s a word for the mistakes we make with our finances, our children, and our relationships... it’s called life! Get use to it, because there will be plenty of mistakes and disappointments to come. The challenge is whether or not we learn from those mistakes and apply them to our future decisions. When we use our pain to improve our way of thinking is when we truly evolve. The New Year provides the perfect opportunity to take that giant leap forward, who’s with me? ~ Michael Baisden
  20. Wow... You did good not saying anything.... I had a crazy inlaw.... Until she realized I'm crazier and that either she work with me or her life would be a living hell.... She learned fast and we wound up being the best of friends.... If you put that chick in her place one good time she will watch her tone....
  21. Girl that was too funny ... I will remember to throw out stuff I can't fit... Lol
  22. Funny you would say a 16 is out the plus size... I was led to believe plus starts at a size 12... I don't think I will ever see myself smaller... Unfortunately we don't see what others see. The verbal abuse I have suffered has been so damaging. Still trying to heal my mind along with my body.
  23. I was in a store yesterday and got so depressed cause all the cute stuff is in a size 5... I don't want to be that small... I just don't understand why designers act as if big people don't want style... So... I'm a size 16 at the moment and hopeful.
  24. I like to see a size 9 again
  25. You guys have said a mouth full.....I have a therapist and I will be talking with her ongoing to make sure I can deal with all the drama I'm going to get now that I'm not going to be the fat girl in the room..... Lmao..... Thanks you guys a bunch....
