you will feel so relieved once this part is done. it is like a milestone that you have to get through and once you do you know you are on your way.

Just very nervous about it I guess. Finally did get the EGD scheduled the day before surgery. Not crazy about being put under twice in less than a 24 hr period. I do not seem to do well coming from under.

I have a tendency to get pretty nauseous when coming from under. So I know how you feel and your concern. Be sure and tell them anything that you remember that happens when waking up be it getting sick or what ever it is let them know.

I had my pre op appointments yesterday given my instructions and here we go just waiting on my date to arrive. Im soooo ready for this but getting nervous a.d scared. Its so life changing and no going back. I don't want to go back. Scared of failure I suppose.

Wow! All is done and now I start a 3 week liquid diet on Monday and then surgery! Glad all the hoops are jumped through and so excited to start the real journey. I just want to thank all of you for sharing and for this forum as it makes me less nervous. Good luck all and I look forward to hear of your experiences once surgery is done.
