I am also at Elkins Park. Just finished the 12 weeks nutrition and all appointments, My Pre op is the 6th and Surgery is December 17th. Like Mommy 327 I also have Dr Trang. Everyone is really great there.

msixkiller please change my date to December 17th, I was so disappointed when they called to change my date, but I do understand the holidays change everyone's schedule.

I will be on a liquid Turkey Day as well!! I can have steamed veggies so at least I can have a plate at the table with all of our families. My surgery date is 12/3.

Hey Niki Congrats!! I am waiting on Aetna as well. My doctor's office called me this am and told me to start liquid diet today! Surgery date is 11/26. I am so excited this long wait is finally over and I am so ready for this surgery!

My surgeons office called and let me know that everything is in Aetna's hands now. So hopefully in 2 long weeks, I will have a surgery date too. I was hoping for the last week of November but it took an extra week after my last exam until all the paperwork was submitted. I will have an awesome Christmas gift to myself -- a new me!!

I am sorry for you misadventure but I am too laughing at Shaving our legs for surgery!! :wub:
