Congrats, Lola! Great start to a new year and a new you.

Congrats, Lola. Welcome to the December group! Prayers for the Monday group, mom lambert. We will be waiting to hear. I will be in your shoes this time next weekend. Liquid diet is really tough. Not really hungry just want something to chew. Can't have gum. Ugh. Can't wait to get this behind me.

Thanks, Mi2--prayers are appreciated. It's exciting but nerve-wracking at the same time. Good luck on the liquid diet--it is really tough, no doubt. Then two more weeks after surgery--ugh. I'm hoping I won't be as hungry then. But, like you, I just want to CHEW! My chewable calcium vitamins, and fiber do help with that a little bit. But I want a pretzel, or chips, or crackers--whatever that would crunch and be satisfying. Oh well, I hope it is worth it--I have to believe it will be. I'm a little gun shy since the LapBand didn't work like I had hoped.

Congrats, Beans. Yup--so quick, but not quick enough. Good luck!

Lots of prayers to the monday group a few days till a new life begins...best wishes

Yes, it is exciting- and nerve wracking! Good luck to all you Monday people!! I'll be sending good thoughts your way for quick, safe surgery and speedy recovery. I'm really pretty nervous for the liquid diet myself. Anything that helps?

Tonight has been the first night that I felt hunger. But it wasn't really bad and it passed. My worst pain is where they took out my port from my band. The others don't hurt that much.

Anyone that has had.surgery have a hard time urinating? I haven't gone since they took the cathedra out at 5am it's now 8:15pm I can feel my bladder is full but it just won't come out..

Jessica i had the same thing. They told me it was probably a combo of the anesthesia and the catheder out. It seems ok for me now . I had surgery on wed and now on sat morn it actually feels normal. W
