Pulmonologist ordered a CT scan to look at my lungs better. Hoping that all is ok and we don't have to delay my surgery on the 12th. Saw surgeon yesterday for pre-op. they are telling me to push forward and to keep my chin up :-)

Prayers to everyone that is now on the losers bench. Hope you all heal quickly. Heading to the hospital for pre op testing today. Surgery December 17th. Getting closer.

Just finished some last minute cardio tests. Praying it's all normal so we can do this on Monday!

Also Praying for all recoveries and no cheating on the liquids!!

Nicole, I'm the 17th too but don't do preop till next week. Hope your liquid diet is going ok.

To all my dec 10 surgery buddies its so close we can taste it the finish line is in sight everybody be strong on the liquid diet for this last weekend day 22 of 24 days on the liquid diet for me and its been one of the hardest things I've ever done be strong and good luck to everyone see you on the losers bench

Yes, to those surgeries on the 10th., we are praying for you and eager to hear from you when you are able. Hope all goes smoothly.

Hang in there guys and girls.... Even though I had some complications I would have still done it I am just taking it day by day can't wait to go home and see my baby boys

Preop went good. I don't have to do a liquid diet thank god but am required to lose 15 lbs prior to surgery. My surgeon will weigh me morning of surgery and will send me packing if I'm not. A nurse told me today that she turned away someone last week. Good luck on your liquid diet. Feel free to check in since we are surgery buddies.

Praying for all of us with surgery coming up and for everybody post op!! It's so reassuring to hear from the ones who've already been thru it, so keep the updates coming when you can. I'm such a ball if nerves over here I can't concentrate!

He wants you to do this in a bit over a week? I've never lost that fast. Do you? Did they give you any guidelines? I'll be on this liquid thing 2 weeks but mine hasn't set a limit. He just says I have to lose. I'll be praying for 15 for you!

You can do it! I'm doing the liquid diet now and it is hard... But I am determined not to cheat. I've got 12 more days! Hoping they flash by!

I got my date!! Just under the wire... 12/29! Start my liquid diet 12/14.... I had already resigned myself to waiting for January, but Christmas miracles pulled it off nervous and excited, but so ready!!
