  1. Question, how do we get the weight ruler that shows up at the bottom of some peoples posts?
  2. I wasn't suppose to start liquids till Sat., but I went ahead and started Wed. I have surprisingly been doing good. Trying different protein shakes and having a popsicle or jello (sugar free of course) when I really think that I have to have something other than water. I weighed in this morning at 323.5, which is down 12 lbs. since Wednesday. Has to be water weight. Praying for the Dec 10th surgeries. Hang in there everyone!
  3. Pulmonologist ordered a CT scan to look at my lungs better. Hoping that all is ok and we don't have to delay my surgery on the 12th. Saw surgeon yesterday for pre-op. they are telling me to push forward and to keep my chin up :-)
  4. I know the feeling! I find out tomorrow if the pulmonologist approves me for surgery. Please keep me in your prayers. I don't want to push the date back.
  5. Simplysouthern, I hope your surgery went well. Can't wait to hear from you!
  6. Hey, my aunt lives in Pryor, just wondering if you know her, Pat Hinkle. She was a teacher at Sequoyia for 20+ years.
  7. Hi all! I live in Dewey and my surgeon is Dr Gorospe out of Broken Arrow. My surgery date is Dec 12th. I have one final clearance to get before surgery, pulmonology. I do that on the 4th, pre-op with Gorospe on the 6th and liquid diet starts on the 7th. So much to do for Christmas!!
  8. Yes keep sharing Andrea! We all need to express our feelings more. It helps everyone to know that we are not alone.
  9. I have been overweight most of my life and have never had a regular cycle except on birth control pills. But, surprisingly the last couple of months i have been very normal. Way too normal :-). Maybe I will skip this month.

  12. In addition to all of the above, I am retaining a lot of water today. Ugh, I hope that aunt flow isn't coming for a visit. Although now would be better then during or after the surgery.
  13. I went yesterday and had a chest X-ray done for the pulmonology clearance and I get a call today from my primary dr today saying they may need to do another couple of pictures because there was a spot on the first ones. Talk about a little bit freaked out and worried that my surgery will be delayed! What could it mean that there is a spot? I need some reassuring words right now :-(
  14. It will be totally worth it! Hang in there ????
