We survived!! My husband finally told me he's ok! He has already been walking! He had his surgery last night around 10:00 because both of his flights were delayed. Any diabetics out there? My husband is having blurry vision really bad. It started the second day of liquid diet.

Wow! All is done and now I start a 3 week liquid diet on Monday and then surgery! Glad all the hoops are jumped through and so excited to start the real journey. I just want to thank all of you for sharing and for this forum as it makes me less nervous. Good luck all and I look forward to hear of your experiences once surgery is done.

Wow!! 3 weeks on liquids before surgery?? I only had liquids the day before surgery.

Feeling really good today. Today was day 6 post op. Each day gets better!

My surgery was Dec. 6th.

My sugar is dropping today and I'm super shaky. Trying to drink a Protein drink now to see if it helps.

Retaining too much fluid can cause that, too. Sometimes I can see with my glasses and sometimes I can't. My surgeon said that could be why, for sure.

I noticed we haven't updated in awhile so here goes... if anything is wrong or missing please feel free to correct it!

I am joining you on that special day. I was suppose to have mine on the 5th, but the day before I was cancelled because insurance didn't approve it yet. (After I did my liquid diet for 8 days)

But everything happens for a reason, and I got the call with my insurance approval today.

Well I'm sitting here drinking magnesium citrate leave for the hospital at 8am!!! I'm so scared and nervous and excited! Can't wait to be a loser

I may have to stay another night if I don't go to ladies room again.

It was hard but I did it! Tomorrow morning I will be at the hospital at 730 and am nervous but excited!
