Sitting up in recliner, having gas pain & throat is really sore. Dry mouth sux. Only 1 oz ice chips per hour allowed. I don't feel as bad as I thought I would, haven't had pain med since recovery room. Doc said he made 6 holes for access but I haven't peeked yet. Walkies soon

2 sleeps to go. The surgical nurse yesterday said that they squeeze out all the gas they can, and just a little bit thats left bubbles up to the shoulder... is that the gas pain you guys are talking about? or do they not squeeze your gas out over there?

Yea. Glad you folks are doing well. :-)

i do remember after a c section awful pain in the shoulder and they said it was from the gas, I don't know if they squeeze any out or not, but to this day and that was about 34 years ago i remember that shoulder pain.

hey just glad you can let us know, that has to be a positive. gentle hugs, and healing wishes

Surgery yesterday. Lots of pain, difficulty getting enough oxygen, still hooked up to pain pump. Might have to stay an extra day for pain management.

Lisa let them take care of you sweetie.

Sending you gentle hugs and healing thoughts and prayers.

Yes! Take as much time as you need don't rush it. We all heal different. I keep thinking why I still feel like crap and others are back to work. I had complications so I can't compare. We need to take the time to heal and adjust.

The gas pain is unreal. Period...

Getting nervous surgery is tomorrow. Can't wait to be on the losers bench

Hi Kaie, mine is tomorrow too. I am praying for you and anyone else going in tomorrow. Good luck, soon we will be on the losers bench.

Surgery was suppose to be tomorrow but just found out they are going to postpone it till December 5th due to me having a very bad cough with chest congestion..kind of bummed but better to go in healthy...ouch I can imagine how much that would hurt to cough so hard..best wishes to all that will be having surgery tomorrow

Jessica, that's probably for the best. Now you can concentrate on curing the cough.
