Sorry for the late update. Yesterday was rough. Procedure was about 3 hours. Been in a lot of pain. I wont pass any gas. Ive been walking alot and nothing it won't come out. Pain has gotten better but I can still feel the gas pain. Im ok though!

Liquids should start in a few hours. Can't wait I am so thirsty!

Ask them if they have oralgel that is for dry mouth my hospital had that it was a life savor. Also the gas may take a bit i had more I was burping lot at first and it took me until I went home to pass gas. Try burping your self like you would a baby I know that sounds weird but it really helped to move the gas bubble out I was burping my shoulder alot

Welcome to the bench. The gas pain is a bummer. I had bad gas pain and I could not burp or pass it the other end until a few dats at home and then I was like thank god what a relief. Chap stick helps your lips and just keep sipping and walking and try to do your best . Dry mouth all I could do was ice . Oreljel never heard if no harm in trying

Getting nervous surgery is tomorrow. Can't wait to be on the losers bench

Waiting anxiously for the phone call from the hospital with check in time tomorrow..still have a terrible cough hope its not postponed...every emotion possible flooding in at once

Best of luck to both of you. You will do great !

Surgery was suppose to be tomorrow but just found out they are going to postpone it till December 5th due to me having a very bad cough with chest congestion..kind of bummed but better to go in healthy...ouch I can imagine how much that would hurt to cough so hard..best wishes to all that will be having surgery tomorrow

You're right Jessica...better to go into being healthy..it's onlY a few more days....that day will be here before you know it

Surgery yesterday. Lots of pain, difficulty getting enough oxygen, still hooked up to pain pump. Might have to stay an extra day for pain management.

Prayers for everyone having surgery today!
