Two more days for me and I am starting to feel calmer about it. Karma I know that feeling well I have 2 children at home as well and I have done a ton of back and forth on what I should do. i do know that right now I am not the best mom that I want to be because I can’t do hardly anything that they enjoy doing. Taking them any were fun is a chore and I spend most the time sweating and hoping it will be over soon. I look forward to when we can go for a hike or walk and they get tired first or taking them to the amusement park without being so embarrassed that I can fit on the ride or that I can’t walk the whole park. Not to mention the water rides every year I buy a bathing suit just to cover it up with a tee shirt and capris. It is our turn now to do all the things that our weight has told us we can’t do. Sorry weight you will not hold me down anymore ! This girl has S$ I deserve to do !

Well I got a call this morning from my doctors office saying that the lady that scheduled my surgery didn't look at my file to see which doctor I had she just assumed and she scheduled me with the wrong surgeon so now I have to be put back another week to the first week of december to have my surgery I am soooo mad especially since I have to do a 2 week liquid diet and have already been on it almost 1 week so they said just stay on it soo I will be on it over 3 weeks gerrr I just want to hang my head and cry

That sucks, especially since you been on the pre opt diet! They want you to stay on the diet,.. That's easy for them to say!

how very disappointing. I am so sorry. I wish there was something I could say that would help, but since I am in sorta the same boat, had my surgery rescheduled while waiting to go back to the OR, because of my blood sugars too high. Sent home, could eat normal for two weeks then another two week pre op diet, heck I am just staying on the pre op diet. I have come this far. So my surgery is Dec 5 when is yours?

It's amazing to me how much we get jerked around by the staff. If I did my job like that is be out of one. I know the nurses are stressed but they need help. It's sad all around.

I've been seeing a lot of you having to be on your liquid diet for 2 weeks?? I only have to be on liquids for 2 days prior to surgery....and a 1200 calorie diet for the 2 weeks before. It's strange how doctors differ....

Sorry to hear that your the second rebook this week. Keep positive as your day is getting closure . You can do that extra week don't give up
