Me too LA, It's sad! Friday pizza nite isn't the same, Had a baptism party for my daughter yesterday and everyone eatting and I'm sippin a damm shake!

You HAVE to be freaking kidding me! I just got a call today at 4pm that I they have to reschedule my surgery to the 20th because the nurse handling my case is off and hasn't sent the final authorization. I'm so upset...and hungry. Haven't eaten in two days. Ugh!

Honestly I would be more then pissed . How could you know someone has surgery and don't handle your end serious that's bull sh!t I'm upset for you. However the 20th is a Good day as well it's my hubby s birthday. You and him will share something him and I will never I'm just joking around. Did they tell you you need to continue with your pre op diet for the week or start fresh. Remember everything happens for a reason sometimes we don't know why at the time and find out later and sometimes we never find out. Hold the faith your almost there

Ok guys its really setting in now. I had the day off so I went to do all of my stage two shopping today. I bought all of my protein drinks, yogurt, Popsicles, etc etc. boy now it feels real and I am nervous till Wednesday but I know it is for the best.

Can surgery be postponed for anemia? My pre op labs just came back and my blood counts are right below normal ranges! I'm a bit disappointed and afraid that they'll cancel my surgery. Isn't this something my pcp should have noticed? any thoughts on this?

Peach... I'm in the same boat... had call from my primary this morning and I have to go back on Wednesday to have my blood work redone.... kind of scary!!!
