So my big day has arrived!!! 8 hours and counting til I check in for surgery!!! Don't know if I can sleep....so excited!!!

I probably wont get any sleep when it's my turn...lol! Please keep us posted on how you are, what it was like, the good and the bad! Good luck in the morning... Prayers are with you....

Amazingly enough I was able to sleep for mine. Just keep your regular routine and get to bed and dream about the new you. Congrats and good luck with your surgery! Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Do try to sleep - you're going to need your energy!! I had to check in at 6:30am... and my hospital was a 1.5 hour drive! Having to get up at 4:30, I went to bed at about 8... thank I finally managed to zonk out at around 10:30

Its 5:45 and I an enroute to tbe hospital....I did sleep...inbtwn running to potty....lol the mag citrate has done me in. So excited!!!! Can't wait to wake up on the loser side :-)

Good luck, and you will be just fine. I was nervous wreck but then I just talked until it was time to go in the OR room.
