Five blood transfusions later. still in the hospital. I may get to have some dinner. Still need prayers!

Jessica

Prayers are with you... hope you get better soon

goddessblaze! Im so glad to hear you are home!! I bet it felt SO good to sleep in your own bed! I wish you a relaxing but speedy recovery!

I think the best thing I did was get three(3) of those egg crate style bed toppers, place them all on top of each other, makes it a lot easier to sleep!

Then, I blast some gas and make my eyes cry.....really sick of only liquids, want something to TASTE!!!

i havent been cleared by the dr to take that yet.. so i dont know if i should even try it?but i cant even tqke my other meds with out being in pain..

I'd just run it past the dr. I call their office everytime I have a question and they don't seem to mind better safe than sorry. Hope u feel better soon. The thin strips resolve on ur tongue like listerine strips so nothing goes into ur stomach just absorbed in your mouth. So it may not cause u pain to do them?

Ya I can image I was on liquids for 2 weeks to as of weds went to mushy it's been ok . It will be nice web we go to regular food . How are you feeling

Mushy sounds like heaven! I feel pretty good physically. I've been really blessed. Mentally I'm obsessing over how much to drink when to take Vitamins what Protein I can get down ect. I want desperately to have some food because some times I have to force myself to drink protein. I've been doing Premier Protein it has 1 gram sugar and 30 protein. It's easy to drink 2 of them. They are only 11 oz too. I have been trying to walk everyday but I don't think it's been more than 15 mins plus the usual getting around to pick up and what not. I'm making the hubby set up the treadmill I've been afraid to myself but he has off this weekend :) I'm going to aim for 30 mins at first well see how I do. Thanks for asking how I'm doing.

Lmao.... If only I could pass gas..I'm in so much pain on the left side it hurts to walk. Or eat but I want real food to. I put a chip on my mouth chewed it and spit it on the sink the other day that's how desperate I was.

How is everyone doing on the mushy ? I haven't been really hungry till today ..

I'm only one week post OP so I got a long way before mushy..I want real food and mushy will do...

I know this is a very personal question, but has anyone had a normal bm since surgery?

Mine's full of blood. They still aren't completely sure why it happened or where it all went. Five blood transfusions and 2 things of plasma. Still very weak. Pain in my left side is the worst. This has been harder than anything else in my life... Definitely NOT The easy way out! Hope everyone else its doing good:

I have to agree its so far from being the easy way out. I'm praying for you. Your journey has been rough so far but you will be better soon I'm sure. I get really tired too. I can't imagine how you must feel. Hugs take it easy and don't worry yourself. I'm not sure if your religious and if your not I'm not trying to offend you but have faith the Lord he can heal us and make us healthy again.
