Psychiatric evaluation - check

EGD / colonoscopy - check

sleep study- check

Cardiology clearence- check

GI consult- check

Pre op education program - 1 class to go

Final doctor appointment

Final two dietician meetings

Official insurance clearence

Chest X-ray

EKG

Blood work

** these must be done within 30 days of surgery**

Appointment with IVC filter doctor

IVC filter placed 3 days before surgery

Pick up incentive spirometer and surgery bag

ok so it i am home on a real computer... the ride home was over and hr and a swear my husband hit every bump so i hit him for every bump..lol .Plus he is over there eating a hamburger, fries and a cookie, REALLY just kill me now!!!. I was is tears, the whole was home, so 1/2 way home!!. OMG, he looks at me and says is this worse than your kidney stone? or natural child birth (10lbs)... um yeah..

one PLUS, I got my dress back, there was one draw NO one could get open the PACU RN comes up stairs kicks it opens and says I brought you up and but your dress right here.. i couldn't believe it, As i was leveing everyone in the hospital asked about the dress and shoes.. which i thought was so funny , i am just glad to have them back.. I am glad to be home in my own bed with my cats and dog..

Day one post op everything is going great. JP drain tube is out as well as floey. Been up walking all day. The nurses have to come looking for me. LOL not to much pain. If i keep up my good work I'll get to go home tomorrow. Thanks for all ur well wishes and prayers.

Its funny because I thought YES i'm not the last one on the list anymore :)

So happy for everyone! We're like a family rooting for each other! I'm down 27 pounds from start of liquid pre op diet. Crazy! 7 days post op and feeling really good-except for allergy to surgical glue. Hang in there all and keep posting!

Ok... Got up this morning and about passed out. My body is not happy with me! On a lighter note(pun definitely intended), I've lost 16 pounds on my pre-op liquid diet!

On my way to the hospital. It's 4:10 am here....
