Psychiatric evaluation - check

EGD / colonoscopy - check

sleep study- check

Cardiology clearence- check

GI consult- check

Pre op education program - 1 class to go

Final doctor appointment

Final two dietician meetings

Official insurance clearence

Chest X-ray

EKG

Blood work

** these must be done within 30 days of surgery**

Appointment with IVC filter doctor

IVC filter placed 3 days before surgery

Pick up incentive spirometer and surgery bag

Yes, horrible headaches and I am extremely cranky.

Is anyone thinking of doing YouTube episodes to let people know what's going on with your journey? I've been considering it. I have viewed many and found them helpful.

Your welcome jessica(janelane) and Lydia, I think jessica (Uniqueladybug) and I handle our stress by organizing crap lol. I know I do! most likely when our dates get closer someone else will have to pick up the slack to keep us going maybe the early september surgeries will be feeling well enough by the time my surgery rolls around the 25th Jessica is the week before me the 19th.

I didnt introduce myself correctly...... Im judith ( juditha) from the uk but living in israel. My op date is 5th !!(wow 3 more days!!) to day my weight is 124kg or 272ils . I have lost 4 kgs on the pre op low car diet

it is amazing that my revison to bypass op is so close

Hi everyone! I'm having my surgery September 10. I started my journey in August 2011. I completed all of my requirements in April 2012 and my insurance denied me in June 2012 because the hospital my doctor used was not recognized as a Center of Excellence by Cigna even though it was by other insurances. So' date=' I started over with a new doctor in June 2012 and got my approval last week on the first submission. I actually am really happy I had to switch doctors as I LOVE my new doctor and the hospital I'll be at in San Diego is much better than my local one. Four more weeks! September's going to be a new beginning for many of us!![/quote']

Hi everyone,,, I hope n wish everyone the best of luck if you having surgery in sept.. My surgery is sch for 9/13/2012 start weight so far was 240, is now 234 currently on my 4 day of Atkins . Massive headaches due to no coffee. Ugh .

Ok I must fess up I have been so good low carbing with no snacking......til this weekend. This is what I am calling my last weekend or lost weekend. My resolved started down the slippery slope of control Thursday when I went into fib right after my 2 hour nutrition group class when I weighed myself on the bariatric docs scale and I feaking gained back 3 more lbs of the 12I lost. So instead of 436 I was 444 I Was crushed to say the least then my heart acts up wtf ! I know it's a different scale but why ? Sigh sigh sigh. I really need this tool to make real life changes. I start my liquid optifast ( adjusted by me cuz I think it's to restrictive and I don't have enough optifast to last the whole two weeks. One of my purchases on eBay fell through and shorted me some shakes I am substituting unjury shakes which I feel are way better nutritionally and taste wise to. I will post my adjusted optifast diet in a min. I think I will achieve my goal of wt loss and liver shrinking.

Shoot will have to post my optifast schedule tomorrow on my Mac can't copy from my email on this iPad night all
