4 Weeks Post Op

Hello. Today I am 4 weeks post op. I'm really struggling to eat and get my protein in. I eat about twice a day ...2 tbsp at a time. I'm supposed to be eating more than that. Liquids go down well as long as they aren't protein drinks.

I've been fighting an infected incision and I'm still on these gross antibiotics. The scale hasn't moved in two weeks. I'm hoping it's because of the infection.

I'm gassy all the time and everything I eat seems to sit so heavy. I never thought I'd say this but despite the head hunger, I hate food. It's become a chore.

Does anyone else feel this way? Anyone 4 weeks out and struggling to eat?

Thanks

I'm a week behind you but yes, I feel the same way

I have been struggling to eat and I am almost 7 weeks post-op. I have been told by everyone here that it does get better and I/you will eat again lol My only concern is the amount of weight I have lost. I am waiting for the day that protien doesnt cause me any nausea. I have been in the hospital several times for dehydration I know I am healed because I had an EDG and everything was healed. I am just waiting on a time I can drink somerthing and eat more than a bite without the nausea.

See if your doctor will give you something for nausea, my dr gave me dissolvable pills that I take every four hours and now I can drink my Protein again.
