So I guess I'm a "skinny" fat person. My BMI is between 40-41, with no other health issues. So I am right at the minimum requirement for the surgery. What happens if they want me to do the supervised diet for 6 months? Are they looking for you to be able to lose or fail at losing? It's confusing, because if I lose more than 10 lbs, I won't be eligible for the sugery, right?
