Post Op Poop? Sorry For Asking!

I'm hoping some people here will be willing to share info about their post op bowel movements. I'm getting paranoid that I have c-diff! Is it common to have many liquid bms each day? (I'm talking like 6-8).

Thanks!

I thought I had c diff too. I had up to atleast 6. Loose bowel movements a day at the beginning. I'm down to about 3 a day sometimes even in the middle of the night. My doctor told me that it is normal. Hope you feel better!

Yesterday after the suppositories I had 2 very very small weird looking bm. I haven't had any more but the gas has started with me today.

Oh and what is c diff?

It is a bacteria you often pick up in the hospital that pushes out the other bacteria that lives in your stomach that gets killed by antibiotics. In turn you get awful diarrhea. No fun at all!

Ohhh I see!!! Scary :(

In the first week or two it is like pudding. Will get regular soon

I go like twice a week or so. My body I guess it's still working on this.
