My name is Jen and I'm a single mom of 2 - an 11 year old girl and 9 year old boy. Also a RN. My surgery is in exactly 2 weeks and starting the preop protein shakes on Friday.

I'm so excited and can't barely think of anything else!

You will do great my husband is a nurse so you all ready know the trick is to walk walk and walk somemore and drink water. Good luck take Chapstick!

Jen...not only our surgeries are one day apart but I have two kids too, both boys one just turned 12 and the youngest is 9!!!! Lol
