Worst diet ever?

Recommended Posts

My worst diet was probably hypnosis (positive changes). I gained 50 lbs on it so, no, not for me. My most successful diet was probably Atkins. It worked well for me in the first 8 months (lost about 100) until I stopped eating low carb and ate whatever.

Did the hypnotist make you act like a chicken while you were under?

Medifast...that stuff made me sick as a dog. I got to the point where I would rather not eat than gag down another packet. Blech!!

No, but I see what you are getting at. :) I think the problem was I am not a good hypnosis subject, too strong willed. Big waste of $2000+.

Ha! An all Water fast ala Dr Joel Fuhrman.

Best one I liked was Dukan diet..lean-high protein/very low sugar-carb.

Worst ever... It was Alli before it was OTC. I got the Rx. I also ate a slice if pizza and ruined a desk chair. That grease spot was one if the most embarrassing moments of my life. I lost only my pride.

I hated weight watchers. The constant counting!!! Urgh!!! Every morsel AND you would hope that you could find the right "points" for whatever it was you were gonna eat

The HcG diet. I starved myself for a week on that diet and actually fainted at my sister's house. It was awful. And scary :(

The worst diet to me is ANY diet! The BEST products have to be PLEXUS. I started using the slim (pink drink) and accelerator on Aug. 10 in anticipation of my surgery. I have never felt deprived and actually was able to stop taking my insulin after two weeks (products were originally designed to regulate blood sugar.) I still take the Metformin, but only need 2 a day rather than 4. I added the probio5 at about one month and the inches really started dropping. I no longer have intense sugar cravings and my nighttime appetite is nearly gone. There is also a Protein supplement that I will be using right before and after the surgery. These products are so awesome that people started asking me if I had already had surgery, and when I said I hadn't yet, wanted to know how to get the products, I signed on immediately as an ambassador to get the wholesale price, but now I'm making enough to cover my monthly supply, plus some. :-). I will definitely continue to use Plexus after surgery and will be adding the XFactor Vitamin supplement, as well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
