Hey everyone one! Im new to this site. I am single, 26yrs old and I am now 210lbs and 5'3". I have high blood pressure, high cholestoral, herniated discs in my back, and diabetes and many heart conditions run in my family. Since last week I've decided I want to get the gastric sleeve, so I am in the very beginning of this process. Ive been yo-yo dieting for a couple years now and threw away a couple thousand with medifast. Which i was losing the weight and gained it all back once I ate real food. I have a 6 year old daughter whom I do not play enough with because I just dont have the energy or body parts hurt or Im too hot (because I only wear pants). If I can lose the weight I can give her a much better and more enjoyable life. I used to be very active and athletic and now not at all, I am not happy with this big body! I want to go outside in shorts and a tank top, I want to go swimming, I want to play sports and fit into boots that go over my calves!! lol I want to get down to 115-125lbs. I just started this process though and I am reading that it seems to take months until you can get scheduled for a surgery. I am at the point I just want this RIGHT NOW! I am going to a required informational seminar and support group this evening to get things started and then I will be able to schedule a consultation with the surgeon. Does anyone know how I can get this process moving a little faster? Or have any tips or advice to give? Oh and anyone who is similar in size/age to my starting weight I want to know how well your skin went back. It would be greatly appreciated!!
Hey! I'm new here
