Nope, you caught the cold from germs.

I'm just about 3 week post And I'm developing cold symptoms. Is a pretty common after surgery to get a cold?

Could be, since post op your immune system isn't working up to its capacity. It's fairly common for people with weaker immune systems..which includes myself!

Get Plenty of rest!

I'm a fresh post op and was told to restart my vitamin d. Feel better soon!

Not common from what I've read so far. I'm also 3 weeks out and have not felt any cold symptom. You must of caught a bug somewhere. Plenty of liquids and rest are in order. Hope you feel better soon!!

You immune system takes a beating. I developed pneumonia two weeks after surgery and a bad cold the week after that. Get rest and your protein.
