I feel like my weight loss journey is taking too long. I don't feel like I'm in a good place right now kinda like I've reached a stand still... is this normal? I'm going to start exercising more now and throw in weights but I need to eat healthier (I know) but I can't think of stuff to make... I bought a recipe book but it's like crazy stuff. I want simple healthy stuff I can make quickly and take too work... any suggestions as to certain exercises or recipe books? ? Please help!

Also..you aren't eating great or exercising. Why would you think you should be losing weight?

Hunny child,

Because she had the sleeve surgery we all had! You know they go in there and cut that bad stuff out and then magic we lose weight!

I eat my donuts still once or twice a week!

But it's ok because I only do it in moderation!

1 donut now! Easy as pie!!!!

To be honest I knew for a fact that the surgery WAS NOT the easy way out but I think deep down inside I kinda did, I wanted my surgery & body to do the work instead of me..... which I now know it's super wrong but the important part is that I've come to realize it's not, AT ALL, and now I wanna put in my part (hoping it's not to late)

It's not too late. :) I understand how you feel though. I am about three months out and I have been watching what I eat but for some reason my weight loss is slow, so I am going to kick it up a notch and exercise more. If you want encouragement look me up! :D I could use encouragement myself!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
