  • That's the best start. Consider "The Big Book of the Gastric Sleeve", ask any questions, start to ween away from caffine and carbonation, and try to start a sensible diet!

Thank you:) I'm a huge coffee gal so I've started slowly replacing coffee with hot tea. I'm planning my surgery right at Mardi Gras, King cakes and crawfish season... I do not need caffeine withdraw

That's funny because I refused to have my surgery during Mardi gras season. Seriously i must have eaten 10 cream cheese king cakes from either gambinos, Paul's pastry or marguerites lol. Next season is gonna be a whole new experience. Good luck with the caffeine breakup - I made it through that easier than I thought - you'll be surprised with yourself too

I am too & I'm thinking crawfish boils will be tough!

I'm 4 weeks post op and I've eaten gumbo (without the rice) 2 times. It settled fine with me and was a real treat after weeks of Protein drinks and strained fat free broccoli cheese soup :)

Yes indeed it makes it tough but we can so it.

Good luck with your surgery and new beginning.

Having mine in New Iberia.

We definitely need to connect...born and raised in New Iberia! Ha!!! Have an awesome day!!!
