Today is my first day of pre op liquid diet and I'm starving... My surgeon doesn't require it however I really want to shrink my liver a bit.

I'm scheduled for January 13th.

I'm lactose intolerant/gluten into too so I'll use almond milk to mix protein shakes.

Thank you:) I'm a huge coffee gal so I've started slowly replacing coffee with hot tea. I'm planning my surgery right at Mardi Gras, King cakes and crawfish season... I do not need caffeine withdrawals as well.

I'm saving my pennies and should have surgery sometime in Feb. Reading and taking notes at this point.
