That is frustrating, hopefully it will all work out for you soon. I was kinda suprised that they only put in 1cc, but now I am glad that they did not go for more.

Are you feeling any improvement over before you were filled?

I thought that I would feel some restriction after the first, and I did for about a min. Now nothing ! I have 4cc in now, how much will they put in on Friday ? '

Yasmina: I had 5 cc at the first fill and 1.5 cc at the second. I go for my third on Wednesday, Apr 18th, and a friend said I'd get 1 or 1.5 this time.

My experience is that I'm not that restricted IMMEDIATELY after the fill, but a few days later it seems to kick in. Then, after about 10 days I start feeling hungrier and have less restriction. Also, I'm a night-time snacker and I've noticed that I have less restriction at night than I do in the morning. In other words, I have some habits to change.

:hungry:

Gaffer to answer the question, no I wish I felt something, any indication the band was acturally in there would be nice (I have the scars to prove something happened). I now have 5cc in the 10 cc band and the person who does my fills said often people don't feel much until 7 or 8 cc's,so I'm trying to be patient and remember the post Yoda had in a few days ago about not rushing things, the trouble is I was so "up" for the first while after surgery and now unfortunitly I'm falling back into some of my bad habits from before....I need to get some of my earlier excitment back and to get disiplined again.

It is hard to keep that momentum going, I know what you mean. That has been the undoing of all my previous attempts.

Hang in there. Your time will come and you will be off to the races.

Sounds like us February Bandsters are having a bit of a struggle right now. Let's keep our eyes on the prize and hope for that 'sweet spot'.

Just came from having my 3rd fill so I'm on fluids today. I didn't lose any weight in the last two weeks (since my 2nd fill), which was a little disappointing. Nevertheless, I'm feeling positive. I'll let you know how this fill goes once I start eating again.

Hi: Feb. seems to be a tough month. I will know "officially" on Monday what I have lost. Not more than three lbs since surgery I would think. Yippeeeeee! Must be a record. Doddie

Lori and Argon... you have both lost enough to be at a plateau for 2 weeks! I'm guessing "fluids" after my fill didn't mean a DQ Blizzard...

:embarassed:

Doddie: You and I had surgery the same day at TLBC. Have you had 3 fills now?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
