I don't think they ever go away completely, but at over 6 months post op, mine have faded by about 50 percent. I use Mederma very rarely--just always forget or don't want to get it on my clothes.

Any ideas on how long it takes for your scars to fully disappear? I have been using Mederma for 8 weeks straight and I notice improvement - but it is slow going. Will they ever turn white or go away?
