What is 5 day pouch test

Recommended Posts

I started it last Wednesday. I've gotten comfortable eating carbs/junk and went up to 171. I could see the fat and my clothes fit different and I know I was gaining and not just fluxuating up and down. I got this info directly from their site. Have you lost control of your weight loss surgery tool?

Today learn and live the plan that is sweeping the surgical weight loss community. If you are asking:

Does my pouch still work?

Have I broken my pouch?

Am I doomed to be a failure at this too?

Can I lose the weight I've regained?

Is the honeymoon with pouch over?

If you are asking these questions then the 5 Day Pouch Test is for you. In 5 Days you can rediscover your pouch, get back on track and lose weight with your weight loss surgery tool. You have not failed! You can learn to use the tool again! http://5daypouchtest.com

I was hooked on slider foods popcorn was my vice. I loved it like I use to love sweets. So I started the 5 day pouch test to break the bad habits of snacking, not eating Protein foods and not drinking my protein shakes.I'm glad I did. The first day I missed carbs popcorn and chewing. Lol

2nd day I'm doing way better. I'm reaching for protein first and feeling renewed with my sleeve.

Even breaking the habit of drinking more than 1 cup of coffee. Drinking my shake now. Yay

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
