Popcorn

Had about a handful of my wife's popcorn while watching Wolverine yesterday. Thought I absolutely was going to die. Never again...

What did it do to you?

Terrible stomach cramps and actually felt light headed. Even thought I might vomit. I was just hoping to make it through the movie. Eventually the symptoms subsided thankfully.

That was one of my favorite foods and I guess I won't be having any of that any time soon. Oh well I have sworn off carbs any way.

I am six months out and I have'll issues with a few handfuls ...but I can't eat rice!

I so miss popcorn. I have an old fashion popcorn machine in my kitchen. Which I may never use again. :-(

Popcorn seems to be a slider food for many.

My bariatric nurse said she's had 2 patients that had to be admitted due to blockages. And they both were eating popcorn. I'm definitely staying away from popcorn.

I eat it all the time

That's scary because popcorn is a slider food for me.

I went to the movies for the first time since my surgery this past weekend. Before my surgery going to the movies meant a big bag of M&M's and buttered popcorn with a huge diet coke. Well, needless to say I thought going to the movies was not going to be any fun at all. But, it was OK - I snuck in my thermos of water and was just fine.

3 months out, thought I can handle it. So far its the only food I tried that gave me such a bad reaction.
