Today I had the chance to have a photo taken in exactly the same place as one of my "before" pictures had been taken. You know how it goes--for years and years you don't let anyone take pictures of you, until you get a surgery date and suddenly realize you won't have any pictures to prove you did it.

So last summer, at a birthday party for a cousin's child, I had someone take this picture of me and my girls (imagine trying to cross those legs!):

And today we attended the same birthday party, so I gathered my young 'uns around and we took this:

It always amazes me in these before and after pics how the faces emerge! You have a beautiful face!

What a beautiful family you have Alex. You look fabulous. It feels good to cross those legs doesn't it. That is my favorite thing to do right now that I wasn't able to do before.

My girls are 3 and 5 (will be 6 in Sept.). They sure do keep us hopping, don't they?!!!

Thanks for the nice words, everyone. I think I'm FINALLY seeing a difference in photos, too. I have reverse body dysmorphia, I think; I look better in the mirror to myself than I do in photographs. But I'm not complaining!
