A chance to compare...

Today I had the chance to have a photo taken in exactly the same place as one of my "before" pictures had been taken. You know how it goes--for years and years you don't let anyone take pictures of you, until you get a surgery date and suddenly realize you won't have any pictures to prove you did it.

So last summer, at a birthday party for a cousin's child, I had someone take this picture of me and my girls (imagine trying to cross those legs!):

Oh Alex, what a beautiful family! All that and weight loss, too! Wow!

It always amazes me in these before and after pics how the faces emerge! You have a beautiful face!

You are doing terrific and continue to be a sourse of info and support for me. Thank you for all you do!

All right Alex!!!! You look good. Keep doin it and doin it and doin it well! (LL Cool J) I hate crossing my legs now... but like you maybe someday. BTW hubbie is a cutie!

Wow! Those are a beautiful inspiration . Not too mention that you look wonderful. Your family is beautiful too. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for sharing.

Amy

Alex: WHOO HOO!! YOU ROCK!!!!! Way to go. I agree face is gorgeous. Children are dolls. Hubby is a hottie. You are so blessed.

You certainly do NOT look 250ish. What a beautiful family.... what are the ages of your girls? I have a 8, 3 & 1 yr olds.

How in the world do we have a weight problem with young kids?????? :guess

What a beautiful family you have Alex. You look fabulous. It feels good to cross those legs doesn't it. That is my favorite thing to do right now that I wasn't able to do before.

My girls are 3 and 5 (will be 6 in Sept.). They sure do keep us hopping, don't they?!!!

Thanks for the nice words, everyone. I think I'm FINALLY seeing a difference in photos, too. I have reverse body dysmorphia, I think; I look better in the mirror to myself than I do in photographs. But I'm not complaining! :)

WOW... You look fantabulous Alex!!!! What a beautiful family!

Darcy

Hi Alexandra

You look great. Sure, I agree with everyone else - your kids are beautiful, your husband is cute, your face looks great.... But more importantly - YOU LOOK GREAT. Congratulations on the weight loss. And the "comfort" in having your photo taken and posted! Keep it up.

Mary
