Yes we will keep threads on vst going always. I am not sure how popular this group thead will be if everyone moves over to the gmail group. We can say things there that nobody can read unless they are in our group.

I would suppose that if everyone does not come over, we will still talk about 5:2 in this group.

Heya, OD -- you're in! You've already posted there too! :-) Go check your emails at the address you signed up with and you will see posts in there...

Anyone else? Pretty please??

So far we've now got: cowgirljane, M2G, Cathy UK, feedyoureye, Oregon Daisy, me -- and I've just sent an invite to Sarsar.

Cheri? Brown? coops? Laura-ven? Globetrotter? Georgia? Chimera? Ms Skinniness? Supersweetums? (Am I forgetting anyone???)

Look at all the font-y colour-y love there...

I tried to get in but it didn't work so I sent you another email that I have with my gmail account. I'll try with that one when you add me.

Dee, I went ahead and sent you a message from my gmail.  We'll see if you get that.

How's everyone doing?  I'm doing okay.  WAY up on the scale, THREE pounds since Monday but I suppose it could all be my cycle.  I hope they fall off.  I'll be beyond ticked if I have to lose the same three pounds I lost over the last two weeks again!

Shingles stink and I hurt but I'm doing okay.  I have been truly blessed and avoided the rash.  But the nerves are just live in my back and buzzing away.  Though it's not nearly as bad as it was the third day so I hope it's all fading.

My birthday is Sunday - I'll be 33, can you believe that?  My five year old told me that it's old, but not as old as her daddy (he's 41) and I gave her a look.  Just wait, kid!  I remember when my mom turned thirty and I made her a grandma at thirty four so  I figure I'm doing alright with my kids!

Take care all, I'm off.  Elisheva is on a nap strike (just what I need) and refuses to rest and let mommy have a little cup of coffee and a few minutes of quiet.

~Cheri

I have been playing around with my computer today and uploaded some pics from my phone so I thought I would share a few with you.

The first pic was taken the summer before I had surgery. I had lost 30 pounds in this pic and I was brave enough to let my husband take it while we were out for a bike ride. This picture brings up a lot of emotions. I am so thankful I'm a different person now than I was then! Wow, sometimes I can't believe I walked around looking like that.

The other 2 pictures were taken this summer.

Thanks. Show your pics, too. If I can do it so can you.

Even though I'm not fat anymore I still don't like to get my pic taken. Our daughter lives out of state so she is always asking me to send her a pictures so I take them sometimes. At least I have pictures of myself now...for years you couldn't find one picture of me anywhere, I made sure I was always the one taking the pictures.

When I saw that the group was totally private it gave me courage to put up the bike pic. :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
