  • Yep, we all do, I think. It's from all the IV fluid and (mostly) the CO2 gas added to your abdomen.I'm a week and a day out and it is better.

How long will it last?

I was bloated for about a week after my surgery. I am 11 days post-op and I feel completely back to normal now.

I'm 10 days out...and bloated still. Losing very little weight also. However, I have been measuring inches and have lost some there.

I need to feel back to normal now I don't like this feeling I feel like I'm overdosing on pain meds just because it makes the feelings go away

You WILL get back to normal, but you CAN'T control the timing -- when. There is no sin to using your pain Rx, that what it's for. You'll kmow when to stop when the pain Rx feels worse than the symptoms you are trying to address with the pain Rx!

Very normal. Remember your stomach is swollen and you were filled with gas. Mine went away after a week n half
