Your emotions are going to be all over the board right now. If you should get really bad I would speak to your family doctor about Xanax.

Abba u and I were sleeved the same day. I feel like **** and am a raging b***h 24/7. You aren't the only one. :0)

Perfectly normal, from what I have been reading. Oh, the joys my DH has to look forward to in August!

Good luck on your journey hun

I'm 2 1/2 wks post op and for the last few days I've been irritable, super emotional, feeling that I'm going to fail and bitchy. My emotions are everywhere. Just glad my husband has been understanding. It's quite the roller-coaster we are all in.

The clear liquid diet for the first week post op really did a number on my emotions and mood. Once I hit full liquids yesterday, it's like I'm a whole new person. For me, each day gets a bit better. I think you are just in the toughest part of it right now but it really should get better soon.

Ok y'all.. Day 5 of the preop diet protein shakes only & today I broke out in tears on my bf bc he said he was hungry. Don't tell me it gets worse than this AFTER surgery!! Lol

I had surgery on june 4th.. I been moody sad and miserable...I should ne happy but im not...

Depression can occur after any major surgery and this is a major surgery, so don't beat your self down it happens.
