May 16 finally hit 40 pounds post op today! Woop woop!

I was sleeved May 20 th and am down 40 pounds. I am having a hard time getting all the Protein in. I eat high protein foods' date=' I just get full quick. Any suggestions?[/quote']

I am also struggling to get my protein in. I finally met with the nutritionist and she suggested I really monitor my Water intake. She thinks I am actually drinking to much and don't have room for the food. I have really tried to stick with 8-10 ounces an hour of water, it is helping a little!

I do drink a lot of water. I'm worried about dehydrating in the summer.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm losing since I look at myself everyday. When in doubt, I find pics Pre surgery. Here is one that made me happy.

Lost a total of 37lbs in 9 wks.

I have learned that if I hit my Protein goals the weight comes off. I make a homemade shake with oatmeal, Greek yoghurt, flax, milk and fruit every morning and drink it between meals. Since I started doing this I broke my 3 week long stall.

I use I cup milk, 1/4 cup powdered oatmeal ( I grind it in food processor or coffee grinder) same of ground flax, 1/2 small tub Greek yoghurt, (don't like it so I only use a small amount) 1/2 cup any frozen fruit and I thin it with water I also add 2tbs skim milk powder.

It has around 400 calories (flax is 100 so I leave this out every other day) and 28-30g protein. It helps me hit my goal everyday! It's yummy. Not too sweet and I keep it in the blender in the fridge and sip at it all day. You could add more yoghurt if you like it.
