  1. Well the pics went out of order, the 2nd pic is shortly after surgery, the stripped shirt was this summer, the black tank top was from beginning of Oct, and the jeans was 2 weekends ago!
  2. Surgery date 5/28, SW 244, CW 188. Been in a 2 week stall, but I seem to loose for a couple weeks then stall, but loose inches. At least that is how it feels. I have gone from a Very tight 18 to a comfortable 14, tops have gone from. 2x to a large! hair started coming out last month, I am trying to not stress at the handfuls (at least it feels that way!) that come out when I wash it. I am not the best at exercising and I know my weight loss would probably be faster. It will come! Pics are my journey so far... . Best thing I could have done, ever!
  3. Today was a 2 mile walk/run. I think that brings my total to 7 so far. May not reach 100, but at least I am moving everyday!
  4. 2.5 miles today
  5. Hi my name is sarah, I was sleeved May 28th. I have just now started exercising but am excited to join the challenge. Today I did 2.6 miles at the gym. Let's do this!!
  6. According to my NUT it is fine. The capsules are hard for our tummies to digest. They do have liquid vitamins also
  7. I do once a day women's chewable vitamin, 4 a day. The bariatric advantage made me throw up!
  8. It will be the best thing you ever do for yourself. There will be struggles but in the end... Even just 4 months out, it is the best thing I could have done for myself!
  9. SW 244 CW 192. Slow and steady. I have just started exercising so I am hoping that will pick things up. First two pics were taken shortly after surgery so I think I was down about 15lbs. 3rd and 4th pic taken this morning.
  10. Pain medicine and heating pad

I also went to VS for new bras, but my ah ha moment this weekend was shopping in the "regular" sizes. I was amazed that I did not have to shop in the woman section and everything in lane Bryant was to big! Woo hoo for the sleeve.
  12. Woo hoo 50lbs this morning! Sw244 CW 194. Feeling fantastic!
  13. I was also having a very hard time with protein shakes, not sure if it was the texture or the sweetness. I have recently discovered Nector Lemonade. OMG it is fantastic! Loaded with protein! I ordered the single serving packs and just throw them in my lunch box or purse. I have had it mixed with water or iced tea (Arnold Palmer). I have also mixed it with crystal light squeezable favors. I ordered it from amazon. Good luck
  14. There is liquid fish oil, it is not bad.
  15. No stricture thank goodness. MD said to just give it time, that everything looked good. Interestingly, I got to see my new tummy and the incision line. Makes me appreciate the magnitude of what I had done and how truly amazingly quick our bodies recover! It is no joke in there!
  16. Thanks for the kind thoughts. I had surgery May 28th. SW 244, current weight 197. I am just struggling with getting enough protein and eating more solid foods. I am living on cottage cheese, string cheese, yogurt and fish.
  17. Wish me luck, I am going in tomorrow for an EGD to see if I have a stricture. Hopefully they find something and can fix it so I can get more solid food in!
  18. Do the fat girl googles ever go away? I am down 46 lbs and have dropped pants size from a tight 18 to a 14. I know I am loosing inches, but when I look in the mirror all I see is that fat girl staring back!
  19. 5'4" SW 244, CW 199. Surgery date 5/28 Highest weight 244 At about 204
  20. Congratulations to you also!
  21. I finally made it, SW 244 CW 199!!!! Surgery date May 28th, so 12.5 weeks = 45lbs gone forever!
  22. I have had a couple drinks, usually can't get through an entire drink. It doesn't taste good any more. I agree empty calories, just not worth it. It is hard to be out with friends at happy hour or at dinner and not join in the drinking festivities, but like I first said, I order and drink and then usually only have one or 2 sips, so I am getting to the point where water is just fine!
