Stricture

Wish me luck, I am going in tomorrow for an EGD to see if I have a stricture. Hopefully they find something and can fix it so I can get more solid food in!

  • No stricture thank goodness. MD said to just give it time, that everything looked good. Interestingly, I got to see my new tummy and the incision line. Makes me appreciate the magnitude of what I had

Good luck! Sorry you are going through that!

Best of luck! Sorry you have to go through this, but strictures are fixable! I'm battling a kink and twist right now (kink fixed with endoscopy, but twist still hanging on...) Even if it takes more aggressive treatment, any improvement will be a relief for you.

Good luck!

How far out are you? Maybe the egd will straighten it out for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed! Keep us posted.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I had surgery May 28th. SW 244, current weight 197. I am just struggling with getting enough protein and eating more solid foods. I am living on cottage cheese, string cheese, yogurt and fish.

Best of luck!

Wishing you lots of luck!

That is fantastic news! Glad to hear :)

I've been hoping to hear from you soon, I'm glad everything is fine. What a cool view to get to see!
