I'm drinking! I'm drinking! I'm drinking!

Recommended Posts

I'm drinking! I'm drinking! I'm drinking! And it's not getting stuck!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! I am not burping it right back up!! It's not causing tummy heaves or mouth sweats. I'm drinking!!!!

So, should I Water down my gatorade?I like it better than Crystal light, I've had less than 50 calories in 3.5 days and for today, I think I need to take what I can get. I don't mind it watered down but I do think I need the electrolytes Crystal Light won't provide.

Did I tell you that I am finally drinking???

YAY!!!

You need more calories, though.

Try light fruit juice for a couple of your hour's worth of liquid.

ALSO- you need Protein. Make up a Protein shake with 2%-whole milk and Protein powder. My nutritionist said that when you're just doing liquid, it's really easy to not get enough dietary fat, which can slow down weight loss and generally be bad for you.

I was instructed to have 3c of milk with Protein in it per day during liquid phase.

After I get 8 ounces down of liquids, I am going to break out a Protein shake. I am just afraid if I don't get some liquid down, I will be too full to try and this is a first in three days. I got 6 ounces down in 30 minutes and I don't feel like I am going to burst.

DID I TELL YOU ALL THAT I AM DRINKING!?!?!?!?!?!

You need to give us a bit more information.

So are you able to drink yet? :P

Good job! Keep it up. Anything that will stay down is great! Even munching on ice chips. The G2 is great and so is poweraid zero!!

Keep walking and sounding the "trumpets!" :) :) :) :) :) :)

Oh, there will be no butt trumpets here unless I am sitting on the pot. How in the world could I be (TMI) making this weird sludge if I have nothing in my system? It's disgusting and I am so afraid that I am going to shart. Butt trumpets are for potties only for now.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
