I wish I would have ... (done differently)

Hello,

Now that you have been through the many stages of being sleeved --

what things do you wish you'd have done differently?

Thank you,

WeeWers

I wish I would have done this years ago!

Same here wish I could have done this sooner in my life and wish I could have walk or go the gym more I think it would have help with my skin...love my sleeve...

i would have learned to love myself sooner and opted for the sleeve even if I had to pay out of pocket for it....Now it's PS. :)

I hadn't even considered the mental/emotional impact to that degree!! I have just started seeing a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. I'm an "emotional eater." It doesn't have to be a bad emotion -- any ol' emotion will do. I was hoping to work with her because I'm terrified of gaining it back. Losing seems to be the easier part ... according to others.

For me, I wish I had started seeing a therapist a lot longer than one month before surgery!

Thank you,

WeeWers

I wish I would of seen my NUT sooner! I didn't see my NUT until I was about 6 months post op. She didn't scold me and she told me I was doing great. Plus she helped me refocus. I don't know why I was scared but I'm happy that I faced my fears to get back on track :)
