Protein

I'm only one week post-op and am having trouble getting in my Protein, mostly because I don't like the Protein shake I bought from my surgeons office... Wanted to see what you all have found... Are there any DELICIOUS Protein shakes out there????

Help!

I bought some premium protein shakes at Costco they have chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate ones aren't bad and they have 30g of protein, My dr's office suggests the isopure non flavored powder protein also but i haven't tried it.

Unjury for me. I like 'em all. Chock. (2 varieties), Valilla, Strawberry, Unflavored, Chicken soup, and Cheese.

I found that the shakes you make yourself with the powder are much better that ones ready to drink. I have tried so many diffrent ones, but am now using the whey protein powder from GNC and I like it very much.

I am a big fan of the GNC AMP Wheybolic Extreme 60 chocolate - it's the best tasting Protein Drink I've found using just Water. Add milk and it's amazing!

I've also found that I don't like ANY of the vanilla-flavored protein shakes, no matter the brand.

Also, the Syntrax nectar are really good. I'm a fan of the Roadside Lemonade, Caribbean Cooler, and Fuzzy Navel flavors.

Unjury chicken broth, plain (I mix with milk for my cereal) you can not taste it, and the strawberry sorbet is great in water or lemonade. I had a hard time with my protein shakes (loved pre-op) no matter how watery they were they were still to heavy for my stomach. But, the Strawberry Sorbet isn't "heavy" for me. I wish I would have had these when I got out of the hospital, I would have made my protein intake for sure!
