June 10th...4 weeks! EEEKKK!

I'm also scheduled for June 10, 2013 So today is day 1 of 14 of pre-op liquid diet. I'm freaked out!

Me too , jun 10 , we should keep in contact, please write some sample menus of your liquid diet or recipes, is day 4th and i am getting out of ideas of what to eat

I was sleeved on the 10th. How are all of you doing? I'm a little sore, but in good spirits and not hungry at all... So far for me it has been lemon/lime Water, sugar free snow cones , half a Protein shake per sitting (two times a day) and a diluted Protein shot (those things are too sweet to take head on IMO). Any way, the journey has started. I'm here to help pick y'all up if you fall during this long journey. I'm an open book ! Sleeved by DR Kim in Texas (Dallas metroplex) on June 10th.

Reason for sleeving: kick my diabetes to the curb.

Starting weight: 273

BMI 35

Health at surgery: poor (diabetes, heart attack at 32 while playing volleyball, on 10+ medicines)

Current weight 247 (-26lbs)

Current health: improving daily, off the insulin pump, all diabetes medicines discontinued except metformin.

Good to know your are doing well, i am in NYC very sore too, so hard to get up and pick up things from the floor and get tired so easy, i think that normal consider that we just have a big surgery.

I am sleeping in my couch since wednesday that cane from the hospital..,the bed make fill so uncomfortable, trying to walk around my building hallways to get rid of the gas and I just got some tips from this forum that hope helps with Constipation.< /p>

the day I started the liquid diet was 182 , my weight on June 10th 171 day of the surgery, today 165 pretty good So far.. I Feel hungry today but I just have a couple of sips of Breakfast essentials and despairs
