  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

Surgery date 6/11.

I started my pre-op liquid diet yesterday' date=' so far so good, I haven't snapped. LOL!![/quote']

Im ready to snap and I dont even start till friday smh

I had my pre-op appointment today. Had to sign papers, they checked my current medications and gave me a prescription for what I need on Thursday It included a patch to put on tomorrow night to help with nausea. . Took my blood pressure and drew some blood. The surgeon came and talked to me and showed me on my stomach where the incisions would be. I guess one more day of low carb stop eating at 6:00 tomorrow and nothing to drink after midnight. I had lost 10 lbs on the 2 week pre-op which is great. So just getting excited nervous have to put my bag together tomorrow. I have to spend the night because of sleep apnea. I stopped at Costco and I now have protein and vitamins. So I think Im Ready!!!

My surgery is on the 7th with you!!! Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery!! :)

So I just got off the phone with the hospital getting my papers in order and my instructions for Friday!!! I can't believe it is finally here!! I have lost 9 or 10 pounds depending on how I step on the scale ! Tomorrow is clear liquids all day and arrive at the hospital at 7:00 a.m. Friday morning!! Loser side here I come!!! :D

Good luck to everyone getting sleeved today!

I was sleeved on monday. So far I have no regrets.

So glad everything went to so well for you!! Mine is coming up on Friday and I am getting antsy! :)

My surgery is June 13th.

I too am scared and excited. it's a little daunting.

I will definitely need support from this group.

I don't really have a feel for what to expect.

I'm half way through the pre-op diet (Bariatric Advantage Shakes) and have lost 17 #'s already.

Wow! It's amazing what reducing caloric intake can do! LOL!

Just got back from my PAT and the technicians and nurses said that everything was perfect and beautiful. Signed a couple of papers they took some blood, did an EKG, and chest x-ray. And I love that I lost 14 pounds in nine days... Five more days to go so hopefully I can reach my 20 20 pound personal goal my surgeon only wanted me to lose 10... June 11 I cannot wait to see you :)
