  1. Each day was a little different but on average each day was between 1-2 oz. the interesting thing was the consistency/ color.. Each day it got lighter/ more clear. By the time the day came to get it taken out at the dr. Office it's was really clear and only lightly tinted red.. It felt like worm with pressure when the dr pulled it out.
  2. I had my drain for a week as well.. I could wear a bra my surgeon put the incisions in the perfect spots:) I had to empty it twice a day and record the fluid:) drains are a good thing.. It helps get rid of excess fluid in you abdomen

  6. Hi I guess I'm on the older side of the younger sleevers.. I'm 30 ... I got sleeved on june11 lost ( including 14 lbs pre- op diet) total of 25 lbs. my starting weight was 294 and on June 17th I was 269.. Whoa!!
  7. Thanks for sharing ur workout routine.. Wow... That is an intense workout.. I plan on getting a personal trainer for a month or so.. Once I have full clearance by the end of July! Until then I will go to my cardio classes and weight training classes modifying as need be.. But you r definitely do ur damn thang!!! I plan on becoming intense too
  8. I Was on clear liquids for the first week but that included protein shakes I am on week 2 postop full liquids but the weird thing is is that she. Said that I could have running oatmeal and grits but I have to wait till the purée for applesauce
  9. Can I ask what Is your gym routine? I plan on taking classes like I was before but maybe I should change it up to see more tone and definition

  12. I do not have any nausea I do get a little tightness in my chest if I drink too much or too fast.. But that is getting better every day... My stomach and abdomen is not sore at all I got my drain removed yesterday.. And my surgeon did such a wonderful job that the incisions are Practically invisible
  13. I am feeling pretty good and fantastic I am getting my liquid ... I am so happy that I am on the full liquid stage... I am getting around 65 to 70 g of protein in and And getting my liquid water intake in as well...

  15. I'm starting to take visical.. I'm 7 days post op and. Just got cleared for taking my vitamins again
  16. I was sleeved On June 11 my starting weight was 294... After the preop liquid diet for two weeks I was down to 280... And now six days. I am 273.. So I am down a total of 21 pounds...go us for Losing weight and getting healthy we are on the losing side.. Also my doctor told me only to weigh myself once a week.. LOL.. She totally knew that I was weighing myself multiple times a day... She also said take pictures.. So you can see the weight difference:)
  17. I got that same feeling... I explained that feeling to my surgeon and she told me it was because I am drinking too fast or too much at one time.. So slow down and take smaller sips.. She said also that your stomach is narrow so you may be full when you feel that tightness...
  18. It is getting easier to get my liquids in and I also have some chicken noodle soup that i strain because the broths taste nasty so this taste a little bit better... So hopefully I am staying hydrated I feel pretty good I took my liquid B12 today for some more energy... I am looking forward to having strained cream soups next week... And having purée the following week
  19. I I was sleep on June 11 and I am getting three of my protein shakes and 20 g of protein each.. And the Protein shakes are about 10 to 12 ounces each... Plus I have about 24 fat 32 ounces lightly flavored water with light cranberry juice or light apple juice
  20. I was also sleeved on June 11 and I am doing pretty good. I feel great I am out and about today. I was sent from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon so I was only in there for overnight. I am getting around 50 ounces of liquids which includes my protein of 60 g. I do feel a little tightness in my chest When I think I drink too much in a certain amount of time
  21. I had my surgery on Tuesday afternoon I was walking around six and did a lot of laps around the nurses station on the floor... I went home on Wednesday afternoon around four.. And today I am doing a little bit of walking down the block and back a couple of times.. Overall I feel good but it is hard getting all the protein And liquids in... Having to sip sip sip sip Every half an hour

  23. 3 hrs till I go to hospital sooo excited!!!
  24. Omg!!! 16 hrs till go time!!! Nerve wrecking... But sooo excited! Meet with my surgeon today... Everything is set... I know. I lost 15 so everything is ready! Can't wait until tomorrow
