  1. I was DX with pancreatitis and was in the hospital because of it, I am doing better but the problem is anything I eat hurts so bad.. My doc said its going to take a while for the swelling to go down completely. Just wondering did anyone have this problem??? I originally though it was due to my sleeve had that done June 24th, I thought I had a leak thank god that was not the problem my sleeve is fine... I was also told my pancreas basically went into shock due to surgery and that its common from any kind of surgery...
  2. I got sick last night and now have pain on my left side and like the base of my esophagus where my stomach meets... Anyone have this before? I am so afraid it's something else...
  3. Their just jealous... Congrats I'm 10 days post op and I'm going back to work Monday I have lost like 26 pounds since surgery... Jealous people don't have nothing better to do than judge... Good luck!
  4. So form what I am reading you guys are drinking milk based protein shakes.. I have those I was told no milk till after two weeks but I'm think I'm close enough... Did any of you have any issues with the protein drinks before the 2 weeks?
  5. I am 10 days post op and I can't stand the protein powder... I have tried adding it to different things it makes me sick just looking at it.. I need ideas on what I can eat I'm living on water and SF Popsicles it's getting old... I am taking my calcium and vitamins..
  6. Yes SF jello is okay and it is considered clear liquid!!
  7. Well I'm 7 days post op and I think today my body is finally letting me know that it wants food. I'm not hungry and don't have the desire to eat... I just finished cooking dinner for my family but today I think was the first time I felt ugh due to my sleeve. I don't feel sick I think it's more weak than anything. I LOVE my decision and do not regret doing it.
  8. Yes 3 days post op, I'm still working on getting water in have not made it to 64oz,.. It seems like a bath tub to drink... Lol
  9. Is it okay, it's not painful just a bit site 3 days post op...

  12. Kinda nervous I got a call this morning to come in earlier my surgery time got moved up to 12.. Thankfully I was all ready to go... Will post later once awake!!!
  13. My A1C came back high so my PCP had me wait 3 months before I could consider surgery.. But I did all I was told and finally surgery is Monday!! Good luck with everything

  15. Coke was my thing.... I love coca cola but I decided to completely give it up and like you I dealt with the headaches... They were horrible migraines for about 3-4 days but I guess my body finally detoxed and all better now!!! I eventually even lost the hunger pains too.. Surgery June 24 I week left!!!! Good luck with everything
