Why be negative

  • Popular Post

Why post negative posts that say that if you can't do this or can't do that you don't deserve to have the sleeve or you will fail??? Can it be proven?? Can it be proven that if you 'cheat' on your preop diet you will fail after surgery? I thought this was a support forum not a knock a person down even farther than what they are already are! Am I perfect? Heck no! But I am trying to change my lifestyle and know what I need to do. I'm sure things might tempt me after surgery, but I know I have to limit myself on things once I hit my goal weight. I come here to get advice for what I will be facing in a few months. Not for someone to tell me if I can't change now I will never change!

Thank you, have a nice day! :)

I'm a lover not a fighter (if I don't have to be  )

Jessie, I don't know the situation, but I've found that when you are faced with dealing with negativity or toxic people, one of the best ways to find compassion for them is realize that at least you aren't forced to deal with them 24/7.

They have to live behind their own eyes; with no escape from themselves and their miserable attitudes. At least you get to walk away; they're stuck with themselves. Sad, huh? aktion002.gif

The situation is I posted that i cheated on my pre op diet... Nothing wayyyy bad like fast food or anything but I had 2 lean meals instead of one and day... And had a bowl of cereal and 3 diet cokes this weekend... It's be 2 weeks since I had one... And SOMEONE i don't even remember user name is now saying i jeopardized my surgrey and if I can't do my diet why am i getting the sleeve because I can't even stick to my diet . I use this forum as a diary not for people to talk down on me.! Also I'm not looking for people to tell me it was ok that i did that because I know it was wrong . I lost 3.8 lbs in first 4 days . So to shay to all the haters

A lot of us have a hard time sticking to the pre-op diet because we have struggled for years with our eating habits. If I could control myself through sheer will power all the time, I wouldn't need to have such a powerful toll as the gastric sleeve to help me succeed in the long term. We are all human. Don't let the comments of one or two get you down.
