Get botox while I'm in mexico for sleeve surgery?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering after I get my sleeve surgery is there anyway I can get Botox or fillers on my face? I really need fillers under my eyes because eye bags are horrible and I'm sure it would be cheaper there.

I got Botox and was extremely pleased. My Cordinator took my daughter and me one day.. I don't know how to recommend anyone because it was a dr friend of hers.

I have had my teeth whitened in TJ. You will spend 1/3 of the cost. Here in the states I was quoted $550. In TJ at Dent-Art I paid about $150

They will pick you up in their shuttle and drive you to their facility. I would definitely use them again.

For botox and fillers, my girlfriend who lives in San Diego has used both Dr Juan Carlos Fuentes and Dr Ariel Ortiz at the Obesity Control Center. I have no clue what she pays, but she loves the results

Botox is FUN. I wouldn't pair it with major surgery though.

Why is that?

Why is that?

Honestly, I don't have one certain reason, I just wouldn't. It's just adding another factor... one more thing to heal up from I guess.

Oh ok.. Ya skeered me there! It definitely won't work for those who have a rough recovery, I guess. From what I read there are quite a few who are feeling awful and would not even be able to make it around TJ let alone off to another dr appt.

I feel VERY fortunate

When I call to schedule my surgery I will ask and see. If they could do it in the same hospital that would be awesome.

My dermatologist in the states Dr Kim here in Tacoma would disagree with you on that.

I would rather combine what I can while I'm down there because I don't plan on going back so since its cheaper for fillers etc. down there then I want to go ahead and get it all at one time.

When you can get away with spending $299 on botox versus $700 like I have spent in the past?

My answer is YES.

By the way...you should also look into Botox in your armpits. I have had it done for the past two years for excessive sweating and it has been a saving grace. No more ruining shirts

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
