Hi all, Ihave been lurking,and REALLy love this site. I am well into my journey, most everything is completed. Today I had my EGD and a colonoscopy. So EGD was great,Dr. tells me he had to take out a l

arge polyp, actually had to go backin to remove some..my first question was..WILL THIS MESS UP MY SURGERY!! Biopsy is sent, waiting for results.....he put me on 3 days of liquids and then a week of low fiber dietto heal colon. My second worry, since my BMI is low and I cant lose any weight...I guess I really want this surgery!!! Sorry for type o's kitten just walked across me..

Good luck with the results! Have you submitted to your insurance yet? My coordinator told me that they used the first weigh in from my initial Nutritionist consult as my "official" pre surgery weight. That was what the insurance would use to determine my eligibility.
