I'm 3.5 weeks postop. Sarge (my sleeve) and I are getting to know each other as my food stages progress. Such as we're not ready for mango yet, much to my dismay.

I'm not weighing myself very often to avoid obsessing. My motto, if I don't know I'm in a stall, there is no stall! At last count I'm down 30 lbs. I'm pleased. My clothes are loosening up everyday.

So far, I'm pleased. :-)

Is anyone here a revision from lapband im wondering if my post op will be different from virgin sleevers

I went from band to sleeve as well as a hiatal hernia repair in one procedure. I was in hospital over night and back to work on day 14. So to answer your question, as for me I don't think my post op was any different. Even the post op diet was familiar because I had already done it with the band. I am back to a pretty vigorous work out schedule and after I got back into my work routine some if the lethargy I initially felt subsided greatly!

I am just 8 days out from my sleeve. I am down 25 pounds from highest weight. only down 4 pounds from surgery weight. Looking forward to pureed stage. I am really tired of sweet Protein Drinks. I am working on adding unflavored Protein to broths. I am getting about 60-70 grams of protein in a day and at least 70 ounces of Water. I am not counting calories or carbs or fats yet. walking 15-30 minutes about four times a day. no pain or gas pain. the drain site finally finished draining today. All the wounds look like they are healing nicely. can't wait til they are fully closed and no more scabs so I can get back into the pool.

I am 16 days post op today. Down 36.5lbs from my highest weight which was 2 weeks before surgery. I am beyond happy but I'm in a bit of a stall right now:( I have alot more weight to lose so I'm ready to see the scale moving more! I just started the purée stage an it's okay much more excited about soft foods next week!! I am having trouble getting all my liquids in daily and Protein I figure that's why I'm stalled:( I sip and take regular drinks but it's just hard! I am trying though!!! :)) good luck to all!! I love hearing all the progress it's so motivational!!!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
